My. God. The most valuable member of the board. The heart and soul. The testicles in the scrotum of the SDMB is gone. Banished. Banned. Vasectomized! For those of you not yet aware of this vast crime against humanity, that evil vixen **Tuba-Diva** , obviously on an insane power trip banned that beacon of brilliance [in this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=87393). The SDMB may shine on, but it’ll shine a little dimmer now. This was a banning without thought. It was hasty. It was done for personal motives. But it was not faaaaair. Look at some of Mu-Mu’s posts. Just look! [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=88664), [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=60650) and [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=86805). Every time he appeared, he had some vital point…some gem of wisdom…some precious fecal nugget on the asshairs of truth to point out. Often about the Mods. And heaven knows they deserve it. Their unreasoning patience in the face of Mu-Shu’s pure logic goes beyond reason. In final analysis, it seems inevitable. Any time someone shows up with the verbal and logical skills that Moo-moo had, they _have_ to be banned. Ah Mo-Mo. The gas you vented burned with a pure-blue-white flame of rage against the dark forces on the board. But you burned too brightly and now you’re just an empty gas-bag. But I _am_ comforted by your message: No one is ever really banned. I await the day that I’ll see new gems of wisdom by Moe-Moe. Until then, don’t think “Adieu”, just think “Good-Bye” And damn the rest of you who stood by and let this happen! _ **DAMN YOU!** _ Oh, c’mon. You knew that someone would post one of these. Check the time and date on the posts, Leander–they were all before his banning. All previous posts made by a banned poster will reflect his or her banned status, even though they weren’t at the time. ---

Leander, the “Banned” thingie under a poster’s name is retroactive on all his previous posts. Where it used to say “Member”, it now says “banned”. So it looks like he’s still posting, but he’s not. ---
