**torie** , I know you said that this was your last word and you wanted closure on this, but I hope you don’t mind my just saying this:

When I opened that first thread, I thought that you were just any other stranger I’d never met before on the SDMB, who deserved the same basic level of respect that I’d give to any other person. Now I see I was wrong; you deserve a million times more respect than that.

Your maturity here puts all of us to shame. I apologize to you for everything I did to keep this nonsense going. And I wish you the best of luck, but it sounds like you don’t need it – you’re aware of exactly what you can do, and you’re on the right track to getting what you want.
