My Dad was the Chief of Police in Cassville, Wi in the early 70’s. Looks like things have really gone downhill since he left. ---

Even though their bails are set at under 2 grand each, they are still in custody. Mom and Dad must be considering their options. It’s dead certain they can come up with the money. :o ---

Yeesh. As creepy as this is (I can’t imagine what her parents must be going through right now - my God, those poor people!), I guess I’m not terribly shocked that it would occur to a young man to try something like this. I have noticed that a fair number of teen/early 20 something guys are, well, horny idiots. I’m willing to bet that if they had actually managed to get the casket open, the nasty surprise that she no longer looks like that nice photo probably would have been enough to convince them to leave her alone. According to [Cecil’s article on the topic](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_092.html), the body may not have been too badly decomposed at that point, but it seems like a safe bet that fatal trauma from a motorcycle accident would not be very pretty to look at. My goodness. I better tell my family that, no matter how old or young I am when I die, I DO NOT want my photo on my obit just in case some horny idiot out there takes a liking to it. ---
