Notables on my list are: Myrna Loy Carroll O’Connor Peter O’Toole Garth Hudson Wes Craven Victoria Jackson I think Garth Hudson would be the most entertaining person for me. I’d like to hear about touring with Dylan, and also the many other musicians with whom he’s performed over the years. ---

I’ve got an embarrassment of riches: Julie Andrews, Rod Carew (same year), Jimmy Carter, Richard Harris, Laurence Harvey, Donny Hathaway (same year), Vladimir Horowitz, Walter Matthau, Mark McGwire, Bonnie Parker, Randy Quaid, William Rehnquist, and someone named _Outerbridge Horsey VI._ Well, I think I can narrow it down to Julie Andrews, Jimmy Carter or Vladimir Horowitz. And after much deliberation, I cannot pass up dinner with **Julie Andrews** , who is exactly 10 years my senior. ---

I knew right away that it would be Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. Think of the spread for dinner! In St George’s Hall! And you know that the Brits are picking up the tab on that feast. I’d totally be asking him stuff about the Royal Navy and such. And I’d bring my boss since it’s his birthday, too. ---

I knew about Woody Allen and Bette Midler, but not Cryiol Ritchard or Mary Martin or Treat Williams. They’re all good choices. I’d probably go with one of the first two. I’ve watched Woody Allen’s films for years, read his writings and his plays. And I saw the Divine Miss M on stage in _Fiddler on the Roof_ on Broadway. ---
