I’ll remember that the next time I watch “People in the News.”
Anyway, everybody knows that MSNBC is where it’s at.

Need something to do when you tired pitting Ann Coulter, it would seem.
Well, personally, I find O’Reilly pitting entertaining. Like watching a train wreck in progress. Same for Coutler pittings.
Ever notice how you never see Bill O’Reilly and Ann Coulter in the same room, at the same time? Not that I’m implying anything, but, well, you know…
O’Reilly and Coulter in the same room? Great gods and little fishes, man! What if they mated and spawned offspring?
Don’t be silly. O’Reilly is a robot and Coulter reproduces by division.
Ah, but that just ups the ante for a mad transgenic scientist, doesn’t it?
“Igor, fetch me the DNA sequencer!”
Be simpler to modify and retrofit O’Reilly’s hydraulic inseminator to fit a cloaca.
But would the resulting pods fit through her ovipositor?
And the orgy of ideological self-gratification continues.
That’s pretty dumb. Isn’t your average Fox News viewer already going to vote for Bush?
What’s the deal with O’Really and “secularism?” Often at night I’ll hear a little of his show and he has this one note song about how the “secularists” are trying to annihilate religion in the U.S. and control the media, blah blah blah.
Personally, I think we could do with a lot more secularism these days.
Huh? Why would that be the case?
I agree. I work at an ad agency, so I’ll ask one of the media gurus around here. My understanding of it is that it’s a waste of money. It’s like having a promo spot for a show that you are currently watching. But they aren’t all necessarily Bush voters.
Buchannan might run again.
As well, it’s not so much a matter of securing the Fox voter, as motivating him. The average Rightarded American has no place to go but Bush, but they still have to get him to go. I will be interested to see what approach they emphasize, “Jane Fonda” or “the Homo Comintern”. Of course, there will be lots of pictures of GeeDubya, that hearty son of the soil, out clearing brush on the south 2.
Come to think of it, that “Col. Toon, ace N. Vietnamese figther pilot” recently spoken of here at the SDMB…is there any real proof he wasn’t shot down over Lubbock in 1970?
I was surprised to see a leftist use the term “Rightarded”. Isn’t that insensitive or whatever?
“Leftist”? moi? If I had to, I’d say I’m on the conservative wing of the extreme left. And, so far as I know, I coined said slur, gleefully and with malice aforethought. Newt Gangrene taught us that fighting dirty works, and polite murmurings over tea with pinkies akimbo is for wimps. Fuck that shit! Give as good as you get, and go down fighting.
Of course, I wouldn’t use such a phrase in reference to a libertarian, in deference to delicate sensibilities. More along the lines of “idealistic, Quixotic, Mensa infested roadkill”…
Insensitive? In the Pit??
Oh my, yes. As a person of delicate sensibilities I feel I must protest the use of vulgar terminology. The Pit is not a forum for base insults. It is an arena of polite chiding and subtle remostrations. Such insensitive talk may cause our more frail posters to swoon and perhaps faint.
I, myself, feel an attack of The Vapors coming on.
Might this be a diguised “donation” to the Fox cause as a “thanks” for their fair and ballanced approach? Hands scratching backs and whatnot.
