I must admit, I had no idea that folks were at all creeped out by black cats. When we’ve gone to adopt one- and granted, since they’re pretty long-lived indoor DSH mutts, I’ve only adopted two as an adult on my own- no shelter has commented on my choice in a way that would lead me to believe it was odd for folks to adopt em. Or, that folks were creeped out by em. Me, I love em. My apologies to those of us who had to stand by and helplessly watch the acronym slither its way to **Z**.
