Maybe they all have white furniture?
I must admit, I had no idea that folks were at all creeped out by black cats. When we’ve gone to adopt one- and granted, since they’re pretty long-lived indoor DSH mutts, I’ve only adopted two as an adult on my own- no shelter has commented on my choice in a way that would lead me to believe it was odd for folks to adopt em. Or, that folks were creeped out by em.

My apologies to those of us who had to stand by and helplessly watch the acronym slither its way to Z. Thank god, we only have 26 letters at our disposal.
