It has quelled her reactions somewhat, but it’s still something she has to deal with monthly. The other is that for the four months I was on Ovcon 35 (for other medical issues, not PMS) I felt like Godzilla smashing Tokyo for a few days out of the month (oddly, at the beginning of my cycle). My hot flaming rage induced by this BCP is the reason I STOPPED taking it. So, medical assistance can help or hinder, but not always irradicate. Further, I’m not kidding about how strong my anger was during those times. I still knew it was not my normal crankiness and I worked very very hard to keep my emotions and my responses to others in check. I think that the posters who are bitching about being victimized by PMS should also take a moment to thank all those women who suffer from PMS and DON’T take it out on them. I know of other women who take very strong prescription painkillers for this, and you’d never know they were suffering. ---

Yeah, after she asked to ‘be alone’ reality intrudes and we couldn’t just let her be alone, she’s got a job to do. We’ve got a thousand capsules that have to be on a truck in 3 hours. Would women who agree that behaving badly and emotionally during a period is understandable, accept that it would be a disqualifier for higher office.?If you seek a female president ,dont expect such attitudes to be acceptable.You have to control it. Sorry ---

I think some of you are blowing this PMS thing waaaay out of proportion. I’m a woman and have worked for many years and lots of different work environments and have yet to encounter another woman who brought up PMS except in a joking way, or that I was personally able to tell that they were suffering from PMS. To be honest, your period is not generally a topic of conversation with most people I know. I’m not saying that people don’t suffer from PMS, but most that do either visit a doctor or share symptoms with just their extremely close friends/family. I’m not calling **kidchameleon** a liar, and if that conversation did happen I think the woman was suffering from some severe personality disorder, not PMS. That’s just nuts. Maybe your mistaking someone being rude or a personal dislike for PMS. ---
