The wife filed for divorce a couple weeks (I believe) before the birth of the child. There were negotiations between Mr. Scaramucci and the wife’s lawyer to arrange for him to be able to be at the hospital for at the birth, or sometime shortly thereafter; apparently those negotiations were not progressing well. So it’s not like this guy’s a jerk who just blew off the birth of his child.
