I will not quote any specifics here, though there are many, save this one:
In every post, in every thread, you use your signature, which quotes a bunch of threads you have started. One of these includes you pissing off Cecil. He is not concerned for your well being specifically. We don’t all care about your "ask the gay guy 1-4 threads anymore. They fell off the front pages after they wore themselves out.
I know a pile on will begin here, where I will be accused of everything from posting a pointless rant to being homophobic, but it was somethign that had to be said. (though I attribute the “Attention Whore” phrasing to someone else.)
So, to sum up,
You, Esprix, are an attention whore.
That is all.

You made a typo. The posters who get a kick out of pointing out typing errors will be mocking you in due course.

I’m not going to start a pile-on. Rather, I just wanted to say that I’m really glad that **Esprix** is a part of this place. I’ve learned quite a bit from his posts, although we don’t always agree. I don’t see him as an attention whore.
I personally like that he keeps the links to the “Ask the gay guy” threads in his sig. I still haven’t read through all of them but I intend to. Having the links there reminds me to do so and gives me quick access to them. Just because they aren’t on the front page doesn’t mean they aren’t important threads.

I was waiting for someone to point out the irony, BrightNShiny. I don’t want Esprix to leave the boards by any means. I would just like his experiences on the obards not to be limited to only things revolving around himself.
And yes, I am aware that this thread is sort of perpetuating that.

Perhaps because 1) he wants people to enjoy the threads, 2) they aren’t searchable, no four letter words, 3) they contain valuable insight and 4) as you said, they aren’t on the front page and people wouldn’t be seeing it any other way.
1 3 and 4 apply to the link in my sig. Should people not be allowed to enjoy a thread that wouldn’t usually be found any other way than in a sig?

Personally, I don’t think that linking to important threads like “Ask the Gay Guy” makes someone an attention whore.

You think EVERY SINGLE POST he makes in every thread should have signatures linking back totally unrelated (well, unrelated insofar as Esprix diverges from where he posts) subject matter?
You think we all NEED to see in EVERY SINGLE POST the link to the thread where he badgered Cecil so much that he posted jsut to shut him up?
How does that add value?

**CuriousCanuck** , his sig is about himself. Er, and? That doesn’t make him an attention whore. And if it did, then surely at the front of THAT line would be **tomndebb** , whose 4-character sig is an abbreviation of his name (no doubt to appease those who don’t know him and want to know what to call him. At least that’s my impression).
His experiences on the board are not limited only to things about himself. But there are plenty that do relate to him, as is the case with many, many other people. I wonder why on earth that is;)
I think you’re off-base here, in short.

What do you care what Esprix’s experiences on the board are? Are aren’t the boss of Esprix.
Most people only post in threads that interest them. For every twenty threads I read I only post in one or maybe two. Esprix is interested in gay guys and he is a gay guy so he likes to post in threads about gay guys. I am not sure why that is a bad thing.
BTW, Esprix does post in threads that have to do with other things.

Esprix has stated that he has discussed the matter with the mods, and that he will only post his sig one time per thread. Sometimes it may be his only post, but it still stands.

I’ve never really read any of **Exprix** ’s stuff, but I don’t like the idea of “Ask the gay guy” crap. Because probably 20% of the posters on here are gay, and why should we let **Exprix** speak for us? Why not a thread, **Ask Esprix**? I don’t really care for zealots of any type.
Anyways, everybody should always conform to how I want them to be. Because then the world would be tolerable. For me.
