Just because the camera cannot be seen doesn’t mean it isn’t there. The only safe assumption is that no atm lacks a camera.
I’d drop the card into the atm’s night deposit slot and carry on my merry way.
If the bank were closed, I would drop the card in the mail slot. If the bank were open, I would give it to a teller. Stealing is not an option. How to help the other person is the object.
A few years ago, a Brinks van overturned and money spilled out all over. I wouldn’t even keep that money. It isn’t mine. I’d put the card in the night depository.
And don’t Brinks trucks have armed security guys in the back? I don’t think stuffing a few thousand bucks in my jeans is worth being shot, and subsequently jailed.
