Or gay, or atheist, or bisexual, or any other number of things. For right or wrong, I always paint a mental picture of my online friends and your being Jewish just went against what I had imagined you in my mind. There was nothing intended by my question and I am not offended at your paranoia because I understand and even empathize considering my own (lack of) religious beliefs in an increasingly hostile country. ---

Our concern is that “The Passion of The Christ” could fuel latent anti-Semitism that exists in the hearts of those people who hold Jews responsible for the death of Jesus, which has always been the source of Western anti-Semitism. Some historians think that his paternal grandfather may have been Jewish and that he was conceived while his grandmother was working for his grandfather’s well to do family. I’ve also read that after the Third Reich annexed Austria, Hitler used his Austrian hometown (after having been evacuated) as artillery target practice and had the church (where birth records were kept) and graveyard (where his grandparents were presumably buried) destroyed but I have no idea if this is factual or not. ---
