Not that Iā€™m totally justifying the OP, but I just think that the (mostly female) posters that have come in to suggest that, ā€œitā€™s all just 'cause you arenā€™t getting any,ā€ donā€™t really understand what a major concept sex can be to people that arenā€™t involved in the type of relationships they like. I certainly have felt that before in high-school, and itā€™s not just some minor, ā€œget over it, bucko,ā€ deal. All of our genes have been organized and programmed towards reproduction, and Iā€™m not the first person with a biology background to say that all behavior is oriented towards repoduction. It may not be valid for a modern society in which we have, ā€œhigher, nobler goals,ā€ but itā€™s not much of a stretch to say that sex is our number one purpose in life. I guess the best comparison I might be able to make is to take whatever you have the most insecurities about and amplify it ten times with the fact that it isnā€™t just about your own actions, but the decisions that others make about you. Like your weight. If someone came into MPSIMS and said, ā€œIā€™m not fat anymore!ā€ and procedded to share, ā€œI thought that it would take years of dieting, exercise, and discipline, but I was wrong, all it took was under an hour in the flourescent light on a dorm couch, and now Iā€™m no longer like all of you other fat, ugly, overeating losers!ā€ Only your weight is something you control and your virginity is something that other people have a role in deciding to. Again, not saying that the thread was pit-worthy, but try to understand where heā€™s coming from before coming back with replies that can truly be very hurtful. In essence, ā€œThe only reason youā€™re pitting this weight-loser is because youā€™re still a fat, ugly, worthless piece of trash who just canā€™t get it off!ā€ For the record, IMHO, the thread was kind of stupid, but I donā€™t think it deserved closing and I think it was okay for MPSIMS. Maybe Iā€™m being colored here by my own sexual experiences. When I lost my virginity, it was like, WTF was all of that attention over? Maybe I was masturbating too much, because, what can I say? Vaginas donā€™t feel as good as I though they did. Iā€™ve made some decisions in life that put less emphasis on sex after that. ---

**threemae** , itā€™s been just a little over 23 years for me, i.e., Iā€™m a virgin, and I think the OP is completely unjustified even though I agree the thread that prompted it was just as unnecessary. Heā€™s not getting anyā€¦ who the fuck cares? Thatā€™s no more of our business than it was that **Tracy Lords** is. I think if it happens under certain circumstances, people will feel compelled to gush. My first time was under such a bizarre chain of events I couldnā€™t help but talk about it. Of course, the situation for me was also a bit more complicated, and when I shared I also adressed some person concerns/misgivings I had about it but was chipper about the whole thing. After all I literally experienced a first time worthy of a Penthouse letter (was on a cruise with my family, picked up a woman at the bar, literally had sex an HOUR after meeting her) and I knew a lot of people wouldnā€™t believe me, thought Iā€™d be full of it. Maybe their doubt made everything that much more gratifying. ---
