What year Celica **avabeth**? Been in one of the new ones and my SO and I were like “You think we can do it here?”…this is inside a dealership though so it was only a question 😃 I’ve done it in my parent’s mini-van lots of times. Rear bucket seats rock. Also in my 88 Bonneville but that’s a large car, no problems there. In my Matrix it’s a tight fit. (TMI) There’s still a faint stain from our activities on the rear seat (hard to see except in low light for some reason). Been trying to clean it, going to get it steam cleaned this spring. It’s been there the first week I got the car 🙂 no one knows of course! ---

I’ve never lived with anyone, but the second I mentioned my SO moving out to grad school with my next January, my mother said “Oh, you want to get married next January?”. I sort of rolled my eyes and said “Did I mention marriage, Mom?”. There’s a big double standard, but you know, I can sort of understand it. I’ve never really discussed my love life with the family anyway, so they don’t know what to expect from me. I think they need time to adjust to the fact that I’ve destroyed my image as the Perfect Virgin™. 😃 Ava ---

A tremendously entertaining thread! I can’t remember all of the cars that have been pressed into service of the cause. But I think that I can exclude my wonderful old '69 Triumph Spitfire from the list–at least if we’re applying a Clintonian definition of sex . . . Otherwise, in this regard at least size has not mattered very much: not even an old VW Beetle was sacrosanct, and I’m a solidly built six-footer. As for someone else’s vehicle: If it belongs to a friend or sibling, it should probably be off limits (although I remember one brother’s '66 T-bird, and another’s '71 Maverick, and the '72 Montego, and maybe the '66 Nova . . . I plead the defense of desperation). But if it belongs to the parents, it may well be fair game. That’s why my daughter does not have access to the XJ6. And lest you think that I’m a rich snob: it’s an '86, purchased a few years ago for less than five grand. So I’m not a snob: I just suffer British Car Syndrome, an incurable and expensive disease. But, though the Jag cost less than the used Subaru wagon, I better not find _anything_ unusual on the leather! ---

HA! You think that’s bad? My ex-girlfriend/current best friend recently told me this: One night, long before we dated, a group of us was going to a movie. I was driving, my date was in the passenger seat, and she was in the back seat with her then-boyfriend. Unbeknownst to those of us in the front seat, he managed to get her off in the back seat of my car. Ugg. LC ---

It was the four door version and we just leaned hte passenger seat back and did it in the front. It was not all that difficult. I am 6’ and my wife was 5’8, so neither of us were particularly short.
