Instead of spending a bundle buying an island, I’d think $50 billion would allow me to be really well prepared to simply take possession of whatever island I want, after 95% of the pop has died/eaten itself. ---

Well…$50 billion would certainly let me start off the zombie apocalypse with a bit more than a flashlight and a can of beans. ---

Also: spend about 40 billion of it investing in 3d printing technology, and a good chunk of the rest setting up Ice Station Zombie with replicators. ---

I would build and equip a space station with every luxury known to man and "man "it with an exclusively hot female crew, so that I could do my duty in repopulating the Earth when the Zombie thing had died down.
