Guitars, wallet and my portable filing system where I keep all of my important documents. Jar of pickles if I have time.
I had to do this in real life last year because of a major forest fire, only had time to load up my 10 parrots, 2 small dogs, basket of clean clothes and my laptop into the minivan and haul ass before the fire closed the only road out.
Peace

Well, it’s easier to start putting parts of your life back together if you have copies of stuff. What, for instance, if you lost your wallet during the evacuation? (Or, heaven forbid, someone stole it from you at a shelter/rest stop/etc?) Backup copies of info could come in damned handy.
Birth certificates are generally easy to get copies of. If you were American-born, contact the appropriate state office of the state you were born in, and request a certified copy.
The wife and my passport. Maybe in that order, maybe not.
