It’s dumb to suggest that they could have done it with Photoshop. Either do the photos for real or not at all. If they were handing out these snaps on the President’s next trip abroad, and it got out that they were Photoshop fakes, that would be a PR debacle in itself. Likely tabloid headline: “President gives nine-year-old cancer sufferer framed picture of Air Force One - and it’s a FAKE”. ---

I could be wrong, but I was assuming that the pictures were being taken by a guy with an ordinary camera in the back seat of the plane. I’m not a top expert on F-16s, but I don’t think, even if there are reconnaissance versions of the plane, that those cameras would be suitable for air-to-air photography for publicity work. ---
