Be aware that in about a year’s time, a Special Edition of ‘The Princess bride’ DVD will be released, which will include cool extras. Probably commentary from director Rob Reiner, and maybe from cast members or the writer William Goldman! Though that’s just rumour so far. Likely rumour. ---

Inigo is my favourite character, “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die”. is my favourite line. Nothing complicated but it is the passion that Inigo possesses that makes it so good. But the whole movie is full of great scenes… like the brilliant fake out at the end… Westley: Then you’re not married. You didn’t say it. You didn’t do it. Wouldn’t you agree, your highness? Humperdink: A technicality that will shortly be remedied…but first things first… [He draws his sword] To the death! Westley: [slowly sitting up] No! To the pain!
