They taste better when the plane for the last leg to your vacation destination has been canceled and you are stuck in, gag, gasp, New Jersey overnight and the next plane to Newfoundland isn’t for 24 hours and there you are WASTING your precious vacation time in a crummy little hotel in NEW JERSEY. And all you’ve got in the plus column is that hot free cookie, and you are holding onto that for dear life to keep from crying your eyes out.

In general, the best tasting foods are those prepared, served, and cleaned up by someone else. 😃
But, yeah, warm hotel cookies are pretty high on the list.

An ice cold coke with real cane sugar is damn good anytime.
(I only have 1 a week, but it’s damn good every time!)
For me…drinking GOOD cold water with GOOD ice cubes after visiting family in Florida, where even filtered water tastes very different (and not as good as) Boston’s tap water.
