[/QUOTE] I was busting up when I first read that. Cookie Monster does get some good lines. My 2 year old son is big time in to Sesame Street, and I’ve been reacquainting myself with Sesame Street after a 20+ year hiatus. I kid you not, ‘Cookie’ and ‘Ernie’ were some of his very first words. Actually, from watching the A&E special about Sesame Street, the reason that some of the Muppets, especially Cookie, act like they do is to some what target adults. The reason being that if the show is funny to adults they will watch it with their kids, and hopefully talk and interact more. At least more than a kid sitting and watching Barney or somesuch that no parent in their right mind will sit through. ---

Beaker is my favorite. I wasn’t very familiar with Muppets until my first job. A coworker pointed out that my boss, whom I adored, looked just like Beaker. I took to watching the shows and, sure enough!-- Dr. Boss wasn’t clumsy or danger-prone, but puttering around with a lab coat on-- the resemblance was astonishing. ---

I don’t know how it came up but during dinner Friday night I mentioned that the perfect person to help with inventory would be the Count because he loves to count things. But then I said that he probably wouldn’t be good at inventory because he counts everything one at a time. “One! One pencil! Ahahaha! Two! Two pencils! Ahahaha!” Saturday morning one of my wife’s co-workers showed up for inventory with buttons for everyone with a picture of the Count on them. My wife laughed and told her how we had just been talking about that the night before! After work my wife stopped to buy some beer on the way home. She had forgotten to take her Count button off after work. She got a little embarrassed when the guy at the liquor store looked at the button and said, “A big fan of the Count, are you?” ---
