As of this posting, I have 3 windows open, all to different MPSIMS threads. You’ve gotten in arguements with your SO about stuff, and used cites and facts gleaned from the Dope to win your case. She hates you all, by the way. 😃 ---

You expect other people to act as rational as Dopers and at the same time be able to handle being told to “fuck off” without going into an utter state of shock. You forget that curt and to-the-point criticism isn’t always acceptable to everyone else in the world, and most people aren’t used to hearing, “You’re being a whiny bitch,” when they’re being a whiny bitch. You hear someone make a hateful or bigoted statement and you think, “Oh, right, the rest of the world isn’t as open-minded and accepting as the SDMB.” You know the gender of dozens if not hundreds of Dopers, whether they’re married and/or have children, their race, their approximate age, and many of their likes and dislikes, and you’ve never met or even seen photos of most of them. It’s 3 in the morning, you have to be at work at 6:30 am, and you’re posting to this thread. ---
