so, just noticed one of the new features: when I go to my profile, it tells me who’s been checking me out. so far, only **Gfactor**. seems creepy, somehow. (not **Gfactor** looking at my profile, but the whole concept). not sure why it feels that way. what do others think of this feature? ---

Just, ah, checking up on things…No need to be concerned, citizens! Yeah, I don’t really like it either. How can I be properly jackbooted–well, it’s more the ominously omnipresent surveillance _before_ the jackboots–but anyway, I feel vaguely weird now checking out the profile of some newly registered potential spammer or troll. ---

Oh, weird. Somehow, I’m not so concerned that people will know I was curious about them, but I’m kinda freaked out knowing who’s been checking up on me. Yet I have no problem with that limited amount of info being public - I don’t care that people _do_ check up on me, I just don’t really want to know who or when. I think this is one of those “ignorance is bliss” times… ---

There’s visitor messages too. Another forum I’ve recently started posting at has those too. People visiting your profile can leave you messages that can be seen by everyone. I don’t know if you (the profile owner) can set those private or not; I haven’t used them yet. ---
