Some things I’d want to get, if money was no object: 1. A glass eye with a little picture of a person trapped inside, pressing on the “wall” to get out. 2. A shiny reflective one, like a ball bearing. 3. A set of eyepatches that matched anything I wore, like my tie. Snazzy! 4. I wonder if a glow-in-the-dark glass eye would be possible? ---

Several years ago I gouged my cornea with my contact lens, having forgotten in was in there. I had to wear a patch for a week or two. I pulled it off rather well. That seems a lot simpler than getting a fake fitted. ---

So, if you’ve got a glass eye, how does that work? Do you leave it in there all the time, or do you take it out at night? Can you remove it yourself at all, or does that need a doctor’s visit? ---
