I want a heated steering wheel, too. I’d much rather have that than my heated seats that take half an hour to heat up to where you notice it, anyway. ---

I have to say that heated stearing wheel gets a nod, heated seats not so much. I have/had them (it broke on the driver’s seat) and never found much use for them. Turn them on, not instant, forget about it, your butt is on fire, turn them off. Yes not much use for them. YMMV ---

Grenade launcher. I’d never drive again, either because I killed or maimed myself with it and/or I’d be in prison for life for murdering dozens of people with it, but that would be one _hell_ of a last drive. On second thought, that’s definitely in the “bad idea” column. Then I’ll have to go with a megaphone system. I’d probably still get into trouble with it, but I don’t think I could do nearly as much damage. ---

I don’t know why so many request diesel, when looking to refuel I bet they would reconsider. ---

Diesel is more expensive per gallon these days, but you buy a lot less of it since diesels get much better mileage. It’s not as apparent in the US because the humongous truck diesels and the Volkswagen TDI cars we get here use diesel to boost both performance and mileage compared to the gas versions, but in the rest of the world they sell diesels that are closer to the base engines in performance that get _way_ better mileage. ---

Cruise Control. I like small “urban” cars but my usage is a mixture of city usage and long highway ones (stuff like “moving from Northern Spain to Switzerland”); CC would be great for those long trips and it’s only available in bigger cars. ---

Working cruise control. My car has it, but it turns itself off whenever the lever is moved, like, say to operate the blinkers or headlights. ---

I have very few issues with my current car (2012 Ford Mustang coupe). If I could add one feature, it’d be a sunroof. Second choice would be heated seats. ---

Somewhere around 2005, Someone In Charge (SIC) decided that all headrests should force my head and neck into insanely uncomfortable positions. I want a button mounted in my car, which transmits signals to a large shock machine hooked to SIC’s genitals. And I want my radio speaker to return the sound of his screams every time I press it.
