From the frequency of Onion links here, I’d take it there’s an adequate appreciation for the Onion’s articles. I’ve watched every single one of the videos on there. They are all hilarious. I think my favorite has to be the little boy who killed the man who broke into his family’s house. ---

Actually, you have to watch some of them twice. Once for the story, and once to read the crawl at the bottom of the screen. ---

What seems to me to be the most rewarding component of each clip is the tagline and the closing graphic. Everything that follows “next we’ll see…” is at least as funny as the previous two or three minutes. And Clifford Baines (sp?) ---

My mother asked me if I thought she should use Facebook a few months ago. I sent her a ‘Today Now’ link with a tutorial on how to use Facebook to spy on her grown children. She thought it was real and couldn’t figure out how it was allowed on TV news but she didn’t even want to mention it for a couple of weeks. I love those things. They are some of the best-made satire going. ---

They must have an incredibly high budget to produce those. They could easily stand toe-to-toe with anything that CNN produces in terms of set quality, graphics and the professionalism of the reporters. The Onion scripts are WAY better though!
