I liked this episode. It had some great lines! “I know you’re in uniform and it’s the middle of the day, but do you wnt to have sex for money?” Randy chasing after the bologna, Darnell knowing so much about worms, and Joy playing Uno. “You have to say Uno, it’s a Mexican game!” ---

I liked when Crabman left the trailer with Earl’s driver’s license in his hair. Earl said something like that was the best I ever found in Crabman’s hair. I also liked the resolution of the episode where the woman Earl hurt realizes just what a jerk her father is that resolution sets her free. ---

I liked Darnell being worried that Jesus was mad at him for putting the Darwin fish on his car, so He was making the “Jesus Eating Dinner” picture bang on the wall. Darnell didn’t realize there was a hole in the wall behind it. ---

It’s official. Randy’s non sequiters make my head hurt. :smack: I liked the subtle undertones of this episode. It wasn’t Earl Screwed Up Earl Fixed It Karma is Happy. Earl was unable to do want he thought he should do, reunite father and daughter, but she ultimately got peace anyway. What was up with Joy posing in front of the car? I had to pick up Ivylad’s eyeballs from the floor. Did you know Jamie Pressley used to be a model? She has such a rubber face for comedy you sometimes forget how stunning she is. ---

Randy: “Why’d you have a crush on her? She’s a bitch.” The hooker showing up in court every time cracked me up. I love her. I think this was one of the better episodes lately. And was that Juliette Lewis’ father/Ethan Suplee’s father-in-law playing the dad? E. ---

I had the same problem with my eyeballs. I didn’t register the dialog in that scene. Another funny episode. The Alcoholic Dad was very familiar. No imdb listing yet. Does anyone else think we’ll end up meeting Uncle Roger? He was mentioned at least twice by Randy. Jim ---

There was a commercial for the 10:00 news on Channel 13/Birmingham last night during the series. “You’ve heard about it on MY NAME IS EARL, but just what is karma? We think you’ll be surprised.” I timer-recorded the 10 pm news (I usually watch DAILY SHOW at that time) but haven’t watched it yet. This promises to be interesting and or painful (especially if it’s geared for people who heard of karma from MY NAME IS EARL). ---

Not too bad. Not my favorite MNIE episode, but not too bad. Joy rules. Darnell’s expression as he took the Polaroids of her posing for our gallant lads in uniform was priceless - a mix of regret and dutiful obedience.
