I think I saw on TV news that the two DJs who did the Britney Spears is dead thing have been fired. They excused themselves by saying they didn’t think any Britney fans would be listening to their heavy metal show.

Just thought I would point out that in my opinion 97.1 is the greatest radio station in the country. No one that likes N’Sync or B. Spears would listen to the station.

I suspect the guy has a great sense of humor; sort of like what you might expect from Herb Tarlick (WKRP), but much edgier for effect. The billboard certainly got someones’ pantyhose would really tight but, I am still at a loss to explain how such an obvious stunt of this sort could possible light so much fire as found in the OP, go figure.
