I read somewhere that the main purpose of the meet from the Palin side is a photo op, something to tie her to Ronald Reagan. “See, I’ve met Thatcher, I’m just like Reagan now.” I also heard that Thatcher’s ‘handlers’ may be her son, may have a cash-based motive to agree to the meeting. I spend too much time wandering around the internet. I can try to find those cites if anyone really needs them. ---
