The fact that he was allowed off grounds with a backpack packed with clothes to facilitate his escape makes me hope someone in that hospital’s management loses their job. However, being civil service myself, I doubt that happens. Sorry, but is anyone picturing a guy in a doctor’s coat and a security guard carrying an oversized butterfly net watching a carousel as a guy in an institutional overcoat and pyjama bottoms goes around once… twice… and then his horse comes back around and the guy in pyjamas is _not on it_. The two stare openmouthed as the horse comes around again - still empty - before the doctor turns to the guard and says “the boss isn’t going to like this”. No? Just me? ---

Considering that this occured in the Soviet of Washington, you can rest assured that the offending parties will get the most severe punishment that can be given to qovernment employees here: Six month paid administrative leave. ---
