I miss [Homestar Runner,](http://www.homestarrunner.com) [The Real Happy Hour](http://web.archive.org/web/20080617233550/http://therealhappyhour.com/), and [TikiBar TV](http://tikibartv.com) seems to be circling the drain of jumping the shark. Then there was [www.HappyPuppy.com](http://web.archive.org/web/20040610234028/http://www.happypuppy.com/) Oh, sure, some are still anwsering, but the people behind them seem to have move on to bigger or different things. And I’m not even including things like [Pointcast](http://web.archive.org/web/19990127181737/http://pointcast.com/) and [pets.com](http://web.archive.org/web/20000621120351/www.pets.com/cgi-bin/puppy/home/home.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=YES&animal=Home), those were just casualties of economy. So what do you miss from the pre-Web 2.0 era? [Jumptheshark.com](http://Jumptheshark.com) used to be fun; you could read the comments people posted for various TV shows, and see the votes on when a particular show had jumped. Now the site is totally gone. ---

I figured Web 2.0 was when things went all Ajaxy with instant feedback (Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, etc.) It was an arbitrary distinction. ---
