It’s actually working some place now . . . MacArthur anticipated Japanese aggression as early as late Nov 1941 when Japanese aircraft were seen over northern Luzon. In early Dec, Japanese bomber formations were observed flying within 20 miles of Lingayen Gulf beaches and returning to Taiwan, presumably making trial runs in preparation for the attack. As a precaution, orders were given to move the 27th Bombardment Group B-17 bombers southward to Mindanao, out of range of the Japanese bombers. This move was delayed, however, as the pilots were invited to a big party held in the honor of Major General Lewis Bereton, an event to be held what was to become the night before the Japanese attack, at the hotel in Manila that was also MacArthur’s residence. ---

will there be a video game system involved ? ive owned over 30 video game diffrent systems … my first was dads pong system by=ut then we bought 2600 in 1979 from the Sears catalog and then i moved to my moms in 1988 and she acquired a Colecovision about 1988 and we bought an NES in 1989 Now interspersed that beginning with a lot of useless trivia about each system and the merits of each and i can roll for hours lol because I’ve owned everything Nintendo has ever made except for 2 systems everything atari made except the 5200 and computers ever ysega system made and a several others … ---

Left\_Hand\_of\_Dorkness, did you notice that in post #4, another news story about the same incident was posted? Most adults would be too scared to say anything to a kidnapper. To kids, this might be just a big adventure. I’m not sure what a kidnapper would do if the person being kidnapped began talking too much. Maybe they would just tape their mouth shut. I don’t think they would shoot them. Then they couldn’t get any ransom payment. In any case, this thread isn’t really about kidnapping. It’s about what subject do you talk about so often and at such length that you annoy people. ---
