This week, I’m already planning on getting a tablet (as a birthday present for myself from my wife) and an iPhone (as a replacement; the old one has a couple of hardware issues that make it easier to replace than to repair). If I had to spend $500, I could easily up the budget on the tablet. ---

A rigid heddle loom and supplies to go with it. Or maybe a spinning wheel . . . (I spin with a spindle, I’m not actually sure I want a wheel. I’m sure I want a loom, and I intend to get one after Christmas, when I have more time. ) ---

Hmm. I’d buy some tickets to a John Oliver show near me, and ones to an upcoming Bob Dylan concert that’s a bit too pricey for me to buy guilt-free without magic money. With the remainder, some new music, a couple of nice books the library doesn’t have I’ve been ogling, and a shirt or two. ---
