I started posting on BBS’s when I was 9, but that was quite some time ago. (that is where the Kid in my name comes from. I was a kid back then, but I have had the name for so long that changing it would be like changing my real name.) I do not think that there should be a minimum age requirement on the Internet, if somebody is smart enough to keep quite about their age then they are smart enough to at least be given a chance online. 🙂 Of course this philosophy comes from the days when a person had to figure out their own AT command strings to get on bulletin boards, the barrier to entry has been significantly lowered since then. 🙂 ('dem dangnabit point-n-click’in interfarces and whatz-yanot.) ---

nope, can’t beat Wearia i’m 15 i try not to make an issue of it how do you become _Everyone’s Favourite Minor_ anyway? Does being more minor (you know what I mean) override being everyone’s favourite? also, i was under the impression that the 13+ law was american only one, meaning people like me who live elsewhere don’t need to worry (unless the site is an american one, which is very likely) at least thats what i thought when i was 12 😃 ---

It’s SDMB policy that a member must be 13 years old. ---

I find this whole thing pretty amusing. When I was that age, nobody had ever heard of the internet. Now I’d seriously like to make a joke about **CajunMan** and **DrMatrix** ’s ages, but I like those guys too much. 😉 ---
