At 15 years old, I think I am younger than most dopers, but probably not the youngest one here. Just out of curosity, is anyone here younger than me? This is about the SDMB, but it’s also mundane and pointless. Can a mod/admin please tell me if I posted correctly? ---

Well, according to [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=120927) thread, the yougest allowed age is 13 years, so even if there are some younger ones, they probably won’t admit it. And this thread similarly suggests there was at least one twelve-year-old member, but that it’s the sort of thing they keep quiet. From what I’ve seen, there are plenty of [teen](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=121791&highlight=youngest+doper)-aged posters on the boards. There are also plenty of twenty-something types. I don’t think there’s a way to find out a poster’s age without asking directly, so you may have to just start a thread in the [In My Humble Opinion](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid=12) forum polling about age. ---

As has been mentioned, the youngest allowed age is 13, however it’s probable there have been younger ones. ---

There was a thread in the past, there were 2 13 year olds but I haven’t seen them around since. I’ll assume theres probably one or two that have signed up recently. But other than that I thinks its me. I’m fourteen for another month. So I’ll enjoy youngest doper status while it lasts. 🆒 ---

He doesn’t actively post, for obvious reasons, the biggest one being that his language skills are on par for a four-month-old (i.e. he’s just now starting consonant sounds). 🙂 Robin, Bomb Bay’s mommy ---

I am thirteen. From what I hear, that makes me the youngest active poster. P.S. On the Witchblade message boards over a year ago, I said I was thirteen, but I was actually twelve. I lied because I wasn’t allowed to post. P.P.S. Thank God I got that off my chest!
