Has anyone mentioned James Thurber yet? “The Catbird Seat”, “The Night the Bed Fell”, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”, and “The Unicorn in the Garden” are classics. ---

I’ve read many of those mentioned, but to be totally honest, three of Asimov’s first came to mind and edged their way to the top: “Nightfall,” “The Last Question”, “The Feeling Of Power”. After that, it’s pretty much a toss-up. ---
