This poll is based off a recent thread which I cannot find. The OP was asking the question “Why don’t young people come to this board?” which made me think “I came to this board when I was young…I just happen to be old now.” Anyway, I’m interested to see how many “young people” do sign up and stay, or how old we are when we join. My apologies to previous pollsters who may have already done this poll. ---

Which SDMB are you talking about? I started using AOL when it went to non-metered rates, and the reason I wanted to be on AOL was because I knew that Cecil was on it. It was one of the first areas that I explored. If you’re talking about this version of the SDMB, I’m user #2, and I would have been 41 when it started. ---
