**Sage Rat** and **Antigen** , your comments/reactions to **There is three errors in this sentance.** helped me to realize I screwed this up! If you replace ā€œerrorsā€ with ā€œmistakesā€ then the sentence achieves its objective, and if it is expressed **There is four errors in this sentance.** it also works, but as stated originally Iā€™m afraid thereā€™s no real problem since ā€œerrorā€ actually does appear in the sentence, making the statement true, which was not the intent. This is something I thought I remembered correctly from a logic or paradox article. But I must have gotten it wrong somehow. Iā€™d appreciate a cite for the correct wording and its source. Smullyan, maybe? ---

Never mind about that cite. I found the source. Itā€™s the neat little paperback book by John Allen Paulos: _I Think, Therefore I Laugh_; that Iā€™ve had since 1990. The title of one of the sections (starting on page 30) is _The Titl of This Section Contains Three Erors_. Later on page 43 he has **This sentance has three erors. As in the titl of a previous section one of these erors is of a quite different type (level) than the other two.** That I remembered it at all after 16 years is more than I should be allowed, but I apologize for botching its presentation.
