Well, if authors don’t count as entertainers, then [Peter Matthiessen](http://www.library.ucsb.edu/administration/development/matthiessen1.jpg) all the way. What about NPR? I’ve recently developed a crush on [Jad Abumrad](http://farm1.static.flickr.com/37/114151410_54785f70f2.jpg). Didn’t even know what he looked like till I was searching for this thread. I just really love his voice. Oooh, and [Brian Lehrer](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Lehrer). And for a nerd crush, I give you the sociolinguist [Allan Bell](http://www.aut.ac.nz/research/research_institutes/icdc/people/). I met him at a conference, and made a total ass of myself when he complimented me on my paper. ---
