Whatever happened to fighting ignorance? It’s true, people who claim to be Christians sometimes don’t always behave appropriately. Same with Buddhists, same with Muslims, etc. Doesn’t everyone, at some point, behave in a way contrary to the beliefs they supposedly espouse? Is it really necessary to pull out our “Christian-bashing Sticks?” Why is it OK to hammer Christians and perpetuate the stereotype of Christians as “Bible-banging hypocrites?” Not all Christians are. Not all Southerners are “gun-totin’ rednecks.” Not all Mexicans living the the US are illegal. I don’t think it’s any more acceptable to bash Christians than it is to make slurs against African-Americans, Poles, Jews, Native-Americans, Homosexuals, etc. Yet, mocking Christians seems to be OK. :rolleyes: ---

My bumper sticker: I’m an asshole, _and I vote!_ If as many people had asshole stickers as did jesus fish, some people may notice that the assholes drive like assholes Soon everyone would be leary of the assholes. If one asshole drove like an asshole, the opinion would be reaffirmed, and the assholes would be looked upon as assholes. If a large number of the assholes were a member of a certain demographic that tended to drive poorly anyway, say like maybe old people, pretty soon every asshole would be painted with the same wide brush as all the other old assholes drving out there. People would slowly begin to notice that Saturn drivers alone are the worst drivers on the road. But if the Saturn had an asshole sticker on it, the poor driving would be blamed on the fact that he/she was an asshole, and not upon the fact that he/she was driving a Saturn. An asshole with a Saturn with a jesus fish on the bumper would be the most feared thing on the road. ---

I like the Christian answer to the “Darwin” fish with feet. They show an even bigger “Jesus fish” eating the Darwin fish. Yes, they support the theory of evolution with their own dumb fucking symbols. ---
