I’d just like to reiterate the standard confusion with this type of thread, in which people profess a shame-faced crush on people who are generally considered to be good-looking. I mean, come on. Campbell Brown? Tina Fey? Joan Cusack? These women are gorgeous, and are making a comfortable living because of it. We’re supposed to be listing people who, not only do none of our friends think are attractive, but make our friends think we’re _insane_ for being attracted to them. ---

**Broken Wind** , you have very good taste (in women, if not monikers). There seems to be a sort of pop-culture consensus about who we should all be drooling over; the mass-market sex symbols. Pick up Maxim’s “50 sexiest women in the world” list. They will all be the usual suspects; young, actresses or models, and willing to be photographed by Maxim. Judging by the success of that magazine, who needs to look any further. So the reaction to Campbell Brown is “WTF are you doing checking out CNN for the babes?” ---
