Your current Dog breed and it's name

Beagle #1 is Ginger. She’s 11 and a half.
Beagle #2 is Winston. He’s 5.

Border Collie-Irish Setter mix, female, 7 years, named Pepsi (she was found running loose at the Pepsi Center)

Irish Setter, male, 4 years, named Daragan (diminutive of Darach, which means great red oak in Gaelic)

Some one dumped a dog at my driveway today. ( Mr.Wrekker says he won the dog lottery) It is a small black and white male, looks like a chi-weenie. I have formally named him ‘Bozo’…I will search high and low for his owner. My experience tells me there will be no one looking for him. This happens to me at least twice a year. I can generally find someone who wants a dog. But, this one I may keep. We will see.

Ours is a rescued cross of unknown parentage - looks a lot like a Toy Manchester Terrier but is probably a mix including some whippet and terrier somewhere.
Name of Eva, but affectionately known as ‘Boglet’ or ‘Baby-Dog’ much of the time.

Rescued at age 12 - Sasha, a whippet.

Update: the little dog that someone dumped, named ‘Bozo’…Surprise I found his mom and girl (sis)!! He was well loved, they dont know how He got all the way out here! He had very good manners in my house for these few days, even when the cats decided he needed to be washed (licked). His real name is ‘Jojo’ ! Close enough to my name for him, that he answered and responded to ‘Bozo’! He was so happy to see his people, we all cried! I am sad tonight, but I know he’s home and safe. I think maybe I need to look for a rescue puppy, soon!

A puggle named Buddy. Very cute, very sweet, not terribly bright.

Apologies if I already posted.

Jack - 16-years old, “Lassie” collie and possible touch of Bernese mountain dog

Scout - 13yo, black and white border collie

Chase - 4yo, yellow lab

Baxter - 3yo, black and white Am. Staffordshire terrier

Tally - 2yo, black and white, Am. Staffy with some lab/collie (?)

Jack was an urban street save, Scout was a rural field save, Chase purchased from a breeder, Bax and Tally from North Carolina rescue org.

Their citizenship, respectively: Queens, NY (found Jack’s owner, she let us keep him); Ohio, Ohio, and rural No. Carolina kill shelter. We live in Jersey.

Two salukis, a five-year old named Neppie (Short for Neptune something-or-other) and a ten-week old, name TBD, acquired on Sunday. The name is under negotiation with the breeder but will have a song title in the name, since it was her song-theme litter. I’m pushing for Masquerade (Better then Bohemian Rhapsody or Piano Man).

We have two Husky mix dogs. Shayna and Poe. They are brother and sister, and will be 3 years old on July 4th.
We have a Peagle, named Beanz, that was a ‘rescue’ from my F&MIL, who were moving to a retirement condo, and didn’t want him, anymore. He’ll be 13 years old in March.

Two rescued dachshunds we’ve had 12 years in May. They were on their last day on doggie death row at the Bakersfield pound; the rescue organization brought them south.

They were named after hockey players. Luc after Luc Robitaille, and Shanni after Brendan Shanahan. Both smooth coated tweenies with a wild boar coloring.

We had a third doxie that was found wandering the streets and turned into a shelter a friend of mine worked at. She was old and in bad shape, but we gave her the best six months of her life.

She was named Fleury because she was small, aggressive-ish and was missing a lot of teeth.

Is a peagle and a puggle the same?

I don’t have a dog of my own, but I play a lot with my mom’s dog, Brady. He’s of unknown provenance, but looks a lot like pictures I’ve seen online of something called a black mouth cur.

I believe a Peagle is a cross between a Beagle and a Pekingese. A Puggle is half Pug, half Beagle.

We have a 2 year old half poodle half shih tzu, or as I like to call her, a poo-shit. Ok, technically she’s a shih-poo.

Her name is Cupcake.

Poor Doxie developed IVDD in late November. We’ve been re-habbing him since then. He was pretty bad for a while, and we were worried he wouldn’t see Christmas. But he’s a tough bastard, and he’s slowly getting better.

Hardest part is trying to enforce the crate-rest. He’s a real “Go Dog”. Gets pretty pissed when he doesn’t get to go Jeep riding with the other dogs.

Next step: Underwater treadmill therapy!

Oh, Gato, hope he’s better soon!

A Peagle is part Pekingese, part Beagle.

.

IVDD? I know I could just google. Here’s hoping his therapy does the trick!

we have a male chihuahua mix we rescued from the parent of a girl who dumped him with her Mother when the shiny wore off. His original name was Rad Dog. His Grandma was calling him Cupcake until we rescued him from her and renamed him Lucky Louie. Grandma was about to take him to the shelter since she had four other dogs. Former Cupcake is my vortex catapult. The love of my life. My best buddy.
