[/QUOTE] Well, [here](http://www.barackobama.com/index.php) is Obama’s web page (I note that there is a Dinner With Obama link on it…maybe the OP is fishing for good ideas :)). Just take a look at the Issues section and it breaks down his various stances on the various issues and what he proposes (in mainly broad terms) to do about them. Things like Universal Health Care however are big ticket items that I consider promises. He has a number of other programs he is proposing in there, some fairly major energy and environmental issues he is also discussing. All of that stuff costs money…and of course, we STILL have Iraq and Afghanistan on our plate regardless of who is elected in November. As well as a fairly high probability that we will be in a recession at that point with housing still a major issue. Given all that I’d ask Obama how he plans to implement his various programs and deal with the problems we are going to have. What is his plan? What is his (realistic) time table? How much of his various programs does he realistically expect to get through? What programs will he go to the wall for and which one’s would he be willing to compromise on (if any)? What are his realistic expectations for changes in tax policy given all this…how will it impact the various tax rates in the country? I’d like to really know what he’s thinking about. I may be voting for this guy…so, I’d like to see some thoughtful responses over after dinner drinks and cigars… -XT ---
