> Just because Yehushua was accused of being a drunkard, and demon possessed and raving mad doe not mean that we should ignore others if they perceive that there is a problem in that area.

> Yehushua did hang out with sinners. But his purpose wasn’t to hang out with them to encourage sin. What would you think if the scripture had Yehushua instead of teaching prostitutes, had him preparing for an orgy? I can just imagine it; “hang on brother, let me fetch you a condom before you pork that ho.”

> The difference is that you didn’t go to a stripper party to discourage your friends from sinning. You went to facilitate their sinning, did you not, as you were responsible for preparations? You may claim that you are beyond lust, but what of the other attendees? And indeed, if they are beyond lust, why have a stripper party at all? Please don’t at this late date tell me that you and your friends were actually spending your money to tell the stripper to keep her clothes on and instead listen to you attempt to persude her to turn her life toward Yah. You have really left that part out. I also think you’d have previously defended your action by saying so–we didn’t have the party to see some tits and ass, we had the party to save the stripper.

One year I decided to not go, and state outright my objection based on standard Christian doctrine. The event still happened. After which I got the message taht I should have gone because the Lord has made me immune to lust (at least lust at that level) and I could have been useful for Him. The following year I went, though I tried to not go, let my g/f know I didn’t want to go but felt that I should go. Even though she objected to stripper parties in general she told me I need to go.

So while there one of the strippers came over to me and started a lap dance, in my eyes it was as if she was a totally innocent and young child, I was seeing her soul as Jesus sees her soul, just caught up in worldly ways, but with the innocence of a child. It was a amazing experience of God that I am very privileged to be a part of.
