I said Lennon because I think he was the most fascinating, but it’s tough because I like them all for different reasons and also because they all had their bad points except maybe Ringo (and even he had his alcohol-soaked phase). ---

I sympathize more with Harrison’s personality, but Lennon made the best music so I went with him. ---

Ringo has always been my favorite. He just seems like the one I would get along with best. He seems really easy-going. ---

I think Paul seems like a far nicer person than John, but John is my favorite in music terms. ---

It seemed to me that while everyone else was out getting smashed and being dramatic, he was in the studio waiting for everyone to come back so they could play. That’s what I liked about him. ---

As a Beatle, Lennon was always my favorite. As a person, though, he could be a real pain in the ass. If I were to pick one who’d be nice to hang out with, I’d go with Ringo. Although Harrison seemed like a good guy as well, and he would have been nice to meditate with. McCartney’s too damned glib, but I’d love to see him in concert. ---
