thatā€™s a hard one. I love chocolate and almonds, but most of the candy bars that have them donā€™t put in enough almonds. A local place has almond bark, which is fantastic, but costly. I also like chocolate and peanut butter, so Reeses makes good ones. The almond bark would have to be my favorite though. ---

Payday is a fave, so are Reeseā€™s PB Cups. My personal theory regarding some of the (US) M&M/Mars bars: 3 Musketeers: chocoloate-covered whipped nougat 3 Musketeers + caramel = Milky Way Milky Way + peanuts = Snickers Milky Way + almonds = Mars So it looks like **Colophon** has the conversions correct. Why the hell they just canā€™t call a Milky Way the same the world over and a Mars bar the same the world over mystifies me. Same for KitKat bars. ---

I think itā€™s called a Take 5ā€“it has chocolate, pretzel, peanut butter, and caramel. Yum. And if I want to spend a small fortune, I love the Barcelona Bar from Vosges. Smoked almonds and sea salt in chocolate. ---

My fave ā€œcandy barā€ is probably dark chocolate almond M&Ms. If those arenā€™t available, Iā€™ll go with peanut, or maybe Nestleā€™s Crunch. On the occasions that I buy candy at the grocery store I get those dark chocolate Hersheyā€™s nuggets with almonds. But Iā€™m pretty much of a candy whore. Hard to think of many combinations of chocolate, nuts, rice crisps, cookies, caramel, coconut, etc. that I do NOT like! ---
