Very obscure movie with very dark British humor. (More than 10 people die even before the main characters are introduced)

Favorite bit to me is when the criminal and absentminded doctor played by Peter Sellers is asked to fill a false death certificate.

Clue.
If you can call it a “dark” comedy. Gotta love that ending.
In that same vein, I really liked “Little Shop of Horrors” the musical.
Would **The Producers** (both versions) be considered a dark comedy or is it too broad?
Way too broad.

Saw a new one last night: [_Married Life_](http://imdb.com/title/tt0804505/) (hm, not that new, it’s got an '07 copyright). It’s not a rollicking rib-tickler, but I laughed out loud a whole bunch of times.

Clay Pigeons is a great, underrated dark comedy with Joaquin Phoenix, Vince Vaughn, and Janeane Garofalo. You can watch it for free at [Hulu.com](http://Hulu.com).

[_Baxter_.](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094713/) I don’t know if it’s actually good or not in the pantheon of black comedies, but it sure is enjoyably weird.

Shallow Grave - a British film that’s so over the top you can’t take it seriously. Unexplained bodies, unexplained money, paranoid roommates, and a good dose of “wacky roommate” humor.
