The only Daytime Soap I ever watched was Passions (while I was in college). That show got weird in a hurry.
I got hooked on General Hospital in the mid 90s. Robin and the HIV storyline was done really well.
I remember when they tried to kill her off…and found out that she is the one soap character you can’t kill, even temporarily.
