Can’t link, but The Mummer’s Dance by Loreena McKennitt - I drove across town in a rainstorm and listening to this made it almost painless. Also soundtrack to Edward Scissorhands is just magical. ---

[David Gray, January Rain](http://youtu.be/x7Du9fy0TuA) [Yo Yo Ma, Bach Cello Suite #1 Prelude](http://youtu.be/dZn_VBgkPNY) I also really enjoy the Enya album “Shepherd Moon”. Not all of it is down-tempo, but overall, its a very calming set of songs. ---

When I am stressed and have no access to music, I just run _Clair de Lune_ through my head over and over. When I have access, I listen to Nat King Cole, ragtime piano, or Horowitz playing Beethoven. ---

I put John Renbourn’s [The Lady and the Unicorn](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWW2iF9whw4&feature=related) on my mp3 player whenever I have to fly. Beautiful, calming and doesn’t require a prescription.
