I can’t believe no one has mentioned **“Victim of Changes” by Judas Priest**

“Shit List” by L7
“Epic” by Faith no More (thanks for reminding me, VeraGemini)
“Territorial Pissings” and “Rape Me” by Nirvana
“Porch” by Pearl Jam
“Freedom,” “Killing in the Name,” and “Sleep Now in the Fire” by Rage Against the machine

And oh yes, hardygrrl … Kat Bjelland kicks everyone’s ass on “Bruise Violet,” but we must not forget “Blue Bell,” either.

“Who Was in My Room Last Night?” by the Butthole Surfers

“Liar” by the Rollins Band

“100%” by Sonic Youth

“Something I Can Never Have” by nine inch nails (even though it’s a ballad, it’s a song by a “heavy metal” or industrial band, so I put it in here.)

“1979” by the Smashing Pumpkins

“Eat the Rich,” “Sweet Emotion,” and “Livin’ on the Edge” by Aerosmith (they have tons more, but these are the three I find myself singing most often.)

done again…for the very first time

If we’re counting **Husker Du** , then my list grows exponentially. “Celebrated Summer” is probably my favorite song _ever_ ( **Anthrax’s** version doesn’t come close, IMO). And, judging by your name, I assume you’d include some **Pixies** , too, which I’d go along with. Within those parameters, I’d add plenty of songs by **The Clash, Superchunk, and The Replacements** , among others. I just don’t normally associate these artists with hard rock/metal.
