Robert DeNiro in Heat. The first time a movie made me cheer for the bad guy.
'What do you care who I am or what I’m reading?" True – but (spoiler) he doesn’t make it in the end. Excellent character, excellent movie. Look at Val Kilmer’s face when he’s buying the charges at the hardware store – almost Tombstone good.
Speaking of whom- Tombstone is Kilmer’s best performance in my book. As much as we love Kurt Russell (a LOT, especially in Big Trouble…), we watch Tombstone to watch Val.
Disclaimer: If Kilmer in* Tombstone* has already been mentioned, the jury will disregard what they thought they just heard me say.
.
Just let old Jack Burton say – “check’s in the mail.” Besides, I never drive faster than I can see.
Son of a bitch must die.
God I love that movie.
The light’s green - you can go.
